The Diploma in Ministry is a 6 months program that will provide the student with basic educational courses to prepare for entry-level ministry in various fields.

Graduates of this program will:

1- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in effective writing by producing a competent piece of writing that interprets, analyzes, and evaluates statements, arguments, and evidence to construct well-supported, clearly articulated conclusions and positions that meet the requirements of standard English.

2- Compose and clearly communicate and contextualize the Gospel in biblically sound teaching to diverse audiences.

3- Describe the background, content, and themes of selected biblical texts.

4- Apply biblical principles that support spiritual, emotional, and relational health both personally and professionally.

5- Apply a biblical theology of the nature and mission of the Church into local church practices.

6- Integrate theology with professional competency in the practice of ministry.

INTRODUCTION TO THE BIBLE – This course traces the history of the Bible and includes discussions of inspiration, the biblical canon, major manuscripts, textual criticism, early translations, and modern versions.

UNDERSTANDING THE OLD TESTAMENT -
A survey of the Old Testament. Emphasis is placed on the major themes, key scriptures, and major personalities of each book. Historical and literary backgrounds of the books are covered.

UNDERSTANDING THE NEW TESTAMENT
An introduction to the New Testament that examines major themes, broad divisions, key scriptures, major personalities, and the structure and context of each book. Literary and historical backgrounds are also examined.

PRAYING WITH POWER –
This course aims at inspiring students; giving them the courage to pray for the impossible and helping them find the persistence to see their prayers to completion.

PERSONAL EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLE MAKING –
This course will challenge students to commit themselves to the fulfillment of the Great Commission to “go make disciples of all the nations”. A step-by-step guide to disciple making is proposed.

CHRISTIAN LIVING -
This course introduces the student to patterns and principles of Kingdom living applicable to life and ministry.
